In order to implement the "Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Promoting the Development of School Art Education" and improve students' aesthetic and cultural literacy, stimulate their imagination and innovation consciousness, cultivate their sentiments, and beautify their minds, we advocate the use of art education to nurture individuals, beautify individuals, cultivate individuals through beauty, and promote students' moral, intellectual, physical, artistic, and labor development, as well as their comprehensive growth and well-being. Recently, the Ministry of Education issued a notice to comprehensively implement the School Art Education Infiltration Action, including the implementation of deepening actions for art education teaching reform, the enhancement of teachers' art education literacy, and the popularization of art practice activities, to further strengthen school art education and enhance its educational function.
Through the second "Colorful Childhood: World through the Eyes of Children" painting collection public welfare event, we hope to showcase the innocence, dreams, and aspirations of Chinese children in the new era. Through their brushstrokes, we present a colorful and hopeful world, reflecting the progress of modern Chinese society and the spirit of the youth. The event welcomes children aged 3 to 16 from all over the country to participate in the free painting collection, aiming to stimulate the creativity and imagination of young children and showcase their unique perspectives and longing for a better life.
This project is not only a platform for artistic creation and exhibition but also an important carrier for promoting and inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture and cultivating cultural self-confidence. We encourage children to draw inspiration from traditional culture and combine history, tradition, and the present with their unique perspectives and interpretations, showcasing the profound cultural foundation and the innovative power of contemporary youth.
